Delete your account and data

This page explains how to delete your JobScalr account and the data associated with it. It is the deletion route referenced in our Google Play and App Store listings.

1. Delete your account in the app

The fastest way is directly in the JobScalr app: open Profile → Privacy & data → Delete account and confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

2. What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your personal data from our systems, including:

• your account and, if you added one, your email and password;
• your profile and onboarding answers;
• your uploaded CV and every tailored CV and cover letter generated from it;
• the jobs you saved, analyzed, or applied to, and your interview-prep progress;
• your push-notification tokens.

Aggregated, non-personal statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained, as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. If you can't use the app

If you've lost access to your device or the app, email marcel.jendrusch@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. If your account is secured with an email address, please write from that address so we can verify the request. We will delete your data and confirm by email, normally within 30 days.

4. Automatic deletion

Even with no action from you, the CV text of anonymous accounts that stay inactive for 30 days is deleted automatically.
